Sogeti group establishes its offshore operations in India

Luc-François Salvador, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Sogeti, announces the set up in Mumbai of the world Sogeti operations offshore.

Sogeti, with today 200 employees in India, reinforces the strategy of growth of the Capgemini Group which schedules to employ more than 40.000 people in India by 2010. Due to its own infrastructure, Sogeti will promote Global Production Model in the fields of projects & consulting as well as testing and outsourcing businesses.

Harshawardhan Tulapurkar will head the Sogeti operations in India.
