KPN Nederland outsources Testing Activities to Sogeti Nederland

KPN N.V. and Sogeti Nederland B.V. have signed a co-operation agreement for the provision of Quality Assurance and testing activities. The agreement, which covers all types of testing activities for KPN IT Nederland (KPN), will run until 2009. The test services will be delivered by Sogeti’s Global Test Service Centre, which uses onsite, offsite and offshore facilities.

KPN is constantly striving to improve its test processes and services, and in line with this, KPN has selected Sogeti Nederland B.V. (Sogeti) as one of two preferred suppliers to help KPN’s IT Test Department to achieve this ambition.

With Sogeti as a key partner, KPN aims to improve and simplify its IT innovation process, shorten ‘time to market’ and reduce overall IT development costs. The deciding factor for KPN, when making its final choice of supplier, was Sogeti’s ability to combine IT professionalism with both local and offshore facilities.

This professionalism will help KPN improve its continuity, increase quality and save costs.”
